Terms & Conditions 

1 Registration

1.1 You agree to the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement.

1.2 Registration to the mailing list is free and there is no charge to you.

2. Benefits

2.1 Paid Members (hereafter “Members”) support the work of Age 50 Ltd and will receive, at our discretion:

  • Priority notice of upcoming events, webinars, and opportunities.

  • Access to special offers and discounts with selected third party organisations (when available).

  • Invitations to online and in person events hosted by Age 50 Ltd and/or partners.

  • Opportunities to contribute personal stories to campaigns tackling workplace age discrimination. We will anonymise identities as requested.

  • Participation in lobbying and awareness initiatives.

  • Members updates, resources, or networking opportunities where available.

2.2 Members may receive invitations to participate in special initiatives or advisory panels from time to time. All benefits are subject to change and provided at our discretion.

3 Events

3.1 Members will be informed of any relevant Events hosted by Age 50 Ltd and/or our partners by email and newsletter.

3.2 You agree to comply with any necessary health and safety regulations and security policies applicable to any Event attended.

3.3 Age 50 Ltd shall not be responsible for event cancellations. If you register but cannot attend, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

 

4 Special Offers

4.1 Any special offers and/or discounts with third party organisations will be accessible by Members by request.

4.2 In presenting any special offers and/or discounts, Age 50 Ltd is not vouching for the quality or cost-effectiveness of any of the goods or services concerned, nor is it endorsing the third party organisation concerned.

 

5 Liability

5.1 All information and materials provided on our website or during events are for general guidance only and do not constitute professional advice. They are provided ‘as is’ without warranties or guarantees. Age 50 Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from reliance on this information. We strongly encourage individuals facing age discrimination to seek independent legal advice, as the content we provide is intended as guidance and not legal counsel.

5.2 Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be legally excluded.

6 Intellectual Property

6.1 Age 50 Ltd owns the intellectual property rights in the information and materials it creates and uploads onto the Website or otherwise provides to the Members. The Member will have a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use such information and materials for the term of this Agreement.

7 Data Protection

7.1 When you become a member, you consent to receive updates on our work, fundraising, and events. We manage data in accordance with data protection legislation. You may request updates or deletion of your data by emailing: age50ltd@outlook.com

 

8 Term and Termination

8.1 This Agreement shall commence on the date Age 50 Ltd registers you as a member and shall continue until either party terminates your registration by written notice to the other party. Members may send notification to age50ltd@outlook.com

8.2 Age 50 Ltd will conduct an annual review of membership; Members who have not taken part in Events for the period of one year may be sent a review email to check on their membership.

8.3 Age 50 Ltd may at its sole discretion terminate the membership in its entirety on one month’s written notice to all Members, such notice to appear on the Website.

9 General

9.1 Membership offers information and events at Age 50 Ltd’s discretion. It does not form any legal partnership or society.

9.2 Terms and conditions may be updated. Any changes will be emailed to members and reflected on our website. Continued membership constitutes acceptance.

 

10. Membership Fees

10.1 Age 50 Ltd operates a paid membership scheme to help fund its campaigning, events, and advocacy work. Fees will be clearly communicated at the point of joining or renewal.

10.2 Membership is optional. Non-paying supporters may still receive limited updates and opportunities but may not have access to Member only benefits.

10.3 All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Fee structures are subject to periodic review.
